My car suffers from unresolved safety, hazard of intermittent gasoline fumes. The vehicle exhibits a strong intermittent smell of gasoline, fumes outside and inside of the cabin, creating an immediate health and safety risk for anyone inside the vehicle or near the vehicle. I have been dealing with a lot of nausea and headache headaches. Despite multiple repair attempts by authorized dealership technicians to resolve this issue, the defect remains completely unresolved. The gasoline smell continues to return unpredictably. The manufacturer is fully aware of this ongoing safety defect, however, rather than taking the vehicle back or terminating the lease of an unsafe car, the manufacturer offered a monetary settlement to keep and drive the vehicle for the remaining two years of the lease duration. Accept accepting cash compensation does not repair a vehicle or eliminate a known chemical hazard. Driving a car with reoccurring gasoline fumes for the next two years is unacceptable and possesses and ongoing risk to my health and physical safety. My vehicle remained at the service repair shop for 55 days and still remains an active safety hazard.
