THE PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF LIGHT TURNS ON WHEN PASSENGER IS SEATED AND THE LIGHT TURNS OFF WHEN SEAT IS EMPTY. THIS SEEMS LIKE A VERY BIG SAFETY ISSUE SINCE THE AIRBAG WILL NOT GO ACTIVATE WHEN SOMEONE IS SEATED.

THEY TOLD ME THERE IS A 50/50 CHANCE THIS WILL FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY WHICH EXCLUDES ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. THE AIRBAG SYSTEM SHOULD NOT BE HAVING ISSUES THIS EARLY ON IN THE CAR'S LIFE. THERE HAS BEEN NO ACCIDENT/COLLISION. I DEFINITELY THINK THIS HAS TO BE A DEFECT WITH THE CAR ITSELF. AND I'M RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COSTS OUT OF POCKET. THIS IS CLEARLY A SAFETY ISSUE.
