IF THIS HAPPENED ON THE HIGHWAY IT MAY HAVE CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I SUSPECT THAT THIS MIGHT HAPPEN TO ANY VEHICLE THAT DEPENDS ON A SINGLE STEEL CABLE TO HOLD UP A SPARE TIRE.
