DURING THE SECOND VISIT, THE DEALER REPLACED THE DOOR LATCH AND DOOR LATCH CABLE. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE DEFECTIVE PART PERTAINING TO TH…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 750IX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR FAILED TO LATCH. THE DEALER REPLACED THE DOOR LATCH, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. DURING THE SECOND VISIT, THE DEALER REPLACED THE DOOR LATCH AND DOOR LATCH CABLE. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE DEFECTIVE PART PERTAINING TO THE DOOR LATCH FOR THE MOST RECENT FAILURE, EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR FAILED TO CLOSE PROPERLY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,200.
